Linda Baston-Pitt, Managing Director
BA (Hons), Cert.Ed. PG Cert Positive Psychology, RGN.

Linda is MD of the EduVivre Group dividing her time between three distinct but related enterprises; The Old School House, a national award winning nursery, EduVivre Training, providing specialist CPD for the EY sector and as a consultant, campaigner and ambassador for social change.

Linda has spent more than two decades working within the Early Years Sector at local and national level and is currently an active representative on a number of national committees, including trustee on the National Day Nurseries Association Board, trustee on the Cambridge Family Mediation Service board, Non Executive Director on the Training & Assessment Network Board (IIP UK), working member of The All Party Parliamentary Group on a Fit and Healthy Childhood and Chair Eastern region OBC steering group.

Ian Pimley, Finance Director

Ian brings an in depth background in financial management after working in the hospitality and banking sector. His key responsibility is the smooth financial management of the nursery.

Ian supports parents with queries relating to fees and funding and represented the Day Nursery sector when the Local Authority was formulating the Early Years Funding for 3 year olds.

Lisa Weston, Nursery Manger
ADCE, Cert Ed, Assessor a1 V1 BA (Hons) Early Years Management, EYT Early Years Teacher

Lisa has been with The Old School House since its inception and is a highly experienced Nursery Manager with a wealth of knowledge in numerous subjects as well as being a tutor and assessor.

Lisa is responsible for the smooth running of The Old School House and heads up the staff training and development programme. She is secretary of the National Day Nursery Association Cambridge Network and a member of the Early Years Training partnership.

Gemma Hobson, Deputy Manger
NVQ Level 4 CCLD, A1v1, 7407 tutor , Level 5 Diploma in Management, High Scope Practitioner, Forest School Leader, PANCo

Gemma has worked with the OSHN since 2000. Having completed a range of training programmes she has developed her role and become qualified as a staff trainer, internal verifier and now an independent assessor.


Gemma has also trained as a PANCo (Physical and Nutritional Coordinator) and is the nursery wellbeing champion, supporting the needs of children, families and staff.

Staff training is amazing – all staff are motivated, caring, efficient and have excellent childcare skills.
