Step 3 – If successful, candidates will be invited in for an initial face-to-face interview.
Step 4 – Candidates will be invited in for a ½ day practical interview working directly with staff and children. This is chance not only to assess your suitability for the post but for you to ask further questions and to find out more about job role.
Step 5 – The successful applicant will be offered the job subject to a satisfactory references and DBS check.
Step 6 – All staff complete an initial induction programme where you will be fully supported by a mentor who will introduce you to your new role.
The induction is the start of your learning journey at the OSH and an important and valuable part of ensuring that you have time to absorb the day to day running of nursery and have a clear understanding of your role and responsibilities. Regular one-to-one meetings with your mentor will ensure that you are able to receive regular feedback on how you are doing and identify further training and development needs if required.
